William Niu, MLS’ 24, Awarded Top Fellowships for Graduate Studies

William Niu, a recent graduate of the Vagelos Molecular Life Sciences (MLS) program, has been awarded several highly prestigious fellowships:

At Penn, William majored in Biochemistry, Biophysics, and Physics. He was recognized as a Dean’s Scholar and received several honors, including the Roy and Diana Vagelos Science Challenge Award, the William E. Stephens Prize, and the Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship. He was also elected to Phi Beta Kappa.

This fall, William will continue his academic journey, pursuing a Ph.D. in Computational and Systems Biology at Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
